surrender to wisdom

For the foolishness of God is wiser than human wisdom, and the weakness A photo of an owlof God is stronger than human strength.

Brothers and sisters, think of what you were when you were called. Not many of you were wise by human standards; not many were influential; not many were of noble birth. But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. God chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things—and the things that are not—to nullify the things that are,__ 1 Corinthians 1:25-28 NIV

Paul said that God is wiser. If one accepts this as the Truth then God’s Word aka God’s ways are preferred. Seeking God’s point of view before we act is the believer’s way of life.

Paul asks us to think of how wise we were by human standards before we opened our hearts and minds to the wisdom of God. Most people come to know the Saving Grace of God  or enter a deeper level of intimacy with God because we have reached a point of utter exhaustion or failure.  We faced a time in our lives when waving white flagwe could not contrive an adequate answer for the crisis we faced; A point of surrender. This is where God displays His power on our behalf, when we depend on Him instead of ourselves.

The fear (reverence) of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding. _ Proverbs 9:10KJV(annotated)

A world that applauds independence has no use for the paradoxical methods of The Creator of the Universe. But surrender, utter dependence on God is the beginning of wisdom.
