Trusting God

Happy Thursday aka Friday Eve!    I am actively trusting God today.

  • WHY TRUST GOD?

Wisdom obligates love as a prerequisite of trust.  We can trust God because He is  Our Father  that loves us. The word love in English with the O replaced by a yellow flower.

But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. __Romans 5: KJV

In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation (perfect substitutionary sacrifice) for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another. No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected  (completed) in us.__ 1 John 4:9-12 KJV (annotated)

  •  HOW TO TRUST GOD?                trust dictionary

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.__Proverbs 3:5-6 KJV (emphasis added)

Trusting  God  = Faith.   Because God’s ways are higher than our own, we don’t always understand the “why “and “how” of God’s work in our lives.  Faith requires unanswered questions.

But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.__ Hebrews 11:6 KJV (emphasis added)

  • HOW DO I KNOW THAT GOD IS TRUSTWORTHY? Macro focused in on "In God We Trust"

I waited patiently for the Lord; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry. He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings. And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear (reverence), and shall trust in the Lord.___Psalm 40:1-3 KJV (annotated)
