when I don’t have anything . . .

I have some thoughts about what  I want to share on tomorrow, Thanksgiving Eve and even on Thanksgiving Day,  but today is the first time since starting to blog that I do not have something specific to say for today.  Once before,  I struggled to stay focused and I remembered my resolution to my purpose: ” When I don’t have anything to say,  I will  say what Jesus said.”  lol         Because Jesus’ words are ALIVE they will  give life to whatever  you or I need to give life to.  Today Jesus said:

Come unto me all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. (Matthew 12:25KJV)

Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. (John 15:18KJV)

Jesus answered and said unto herGlass of pouring waterWhosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again: But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.  (John 4:13-14KJV)

And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst. ( John 6:35KJV)bread and wheat straw

Wow!  In this short time, these verses came together and they represent a meal with Jesus. Definitely not planned.  But God is Awesomely Faithful!!!  TODAY:  Come to Jesus and He will give you rest. He has chosen you and me to bring forth fruit .  And what Jesus orders, He pays for—just ask the Father in His name.  Jesus is  “Living Water” and “the Bread of Life.”

Enjoy the feast!!  And for those who might say, “It’s just not a meal without any meat”, Jesus said:

“Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man. “Matthew 15:11KJV
